September 11, 2001

Today, 8 years ago, was one of the most tragic events that took place in the history of the United States. People died, families mourned, and the world cried. May God bless this country and the pride, dignity, and integrity our people hold. May God bless the people who joined Him above, and may He smile down upon us standing today and protect us, love us, and care for us. NYC, 09/11/2001

This country needs to stay united. Look at these situations. Look at our problems. Look at our people. We are one blood, one heart, one people. America is the mother of all mothers, the country of all countries. We have freedom, we can laugh, we can smile, we can breathe, we dance, and we can live. We have people of different colors, cultures & ethnicities -- but it doesn't matter. Because in my eyes, as should be with other peoples eyes, I see my own people -- I don't see any difference between myself, a Middle Eastern, with that of a Hispanic, Italian, Asian. I see one smile and a heart that seeks happiness. Looking at these situations around us, should enable us to recognize the need to tighten our hands together and unify as one family.

September 11, 2001 was an incident that made the blind see, and made the weak, strong. Let us remember this situation and engrave it in our minds and souls to remember that we are all neighbors, we are one family -- God bless you all!

Life . . .(According to Serena Essapour)

What is life about? Life is such a beautiful place to be in . . . . Many unfortunately get discouraged about it-- but what they don't know or realize is that life is full of surprises. Life is honestly like a never ending roller coaster ride that spins and takes you on a journey never to be forgotten. Hurdles, challenges, problems arise -- but it's okay because there is no hurdle that is unsurpassable. I believe that all individuals have the potential and capability to do anything their heart desires. You just need to believe in yourself. The fundamental and most mandatory elements for survival are having faith in yourself, believing in yourself, and never letting go of that passion within your heart; that light that shines from within you. That light will always survive unless you blow it out. Paint the beautiful picture of life -- the one you envision, and the one that makes you close your eyes and smile . . . you are the author of your life, the creator, and the painter -- laugh your heart away and never give up!
